Links that say what they point at

Every Luke link in a plan, a transcript, an Inbox item, or the Call tab is a chip named for its place: the task's, agent's, page's, or person's own name, wearing its glyph. A Luke address pasted into a box becomes its chip, and a bare one in a message is handed to the agent as its mention. A pull request's, a GitHub issue's, or a Linear issue's link says its title and state, read through the workspace's own GitHub App or Linear, in an Inbox item through that item's own workspace. A Luke link pasted into Slack, iMessage, or X unfurls as Luke's card. (#3036, #3038, #3047, #3049, #3071, #3074, #3098)

An Inbox item whose words carry chips: relay#217 Open, the Linear issue REL-142 In Progress, the Teammate invitations task, relay#209 Merged, relay#214 and #216 with their states, and Dana Moreno, around the lines of code it changes.

Agents that start, mention, and archive agents

A coding agent starts another coding agent on its own task or on any task of its workspace, which list_tasks finds, and the new agent reports back to it. The @ list offers every coding agent of the workspace, labelled by its task, and coding agents write mentions too. Luke and coding agents read any page of the workspace with read_page, so a page mention points at the page rather than carrying it. An agent can archive or unarchive another, and the archived agent's card and banner say who archived it and why. A message from another coding agent is drawn under that agent's mark. (#3028, #3029, #3064, #3067, #3068, #3076, #3078, #3088, #3093)

A coding agent's transcript: asked to hand the invite email on, it starts a coding agent; Invite emails reports back under its own name; the agent mentions it as a chip and archives the Postmark spike.

Start a task without planning

New task has a Plan switch. Turn it off and the task starts with an empty plan and no call, and the switch stays as you left it next time. (#3083)

Luke at any width

A narrow window or side panel keeps everything in reach. A side panel's file tree, Changes tree, and Terminal shells float over a skinny tab, peeked by hover and opened by their toggle, as the main sidebar does. Tab strips shrink, then fold to glyphs, then scroll with the chosen tab in view. The plan, an agent's transcript, the call bar, Settings, Home, the Inbox, and the sidebar's foot all read in a narrow column, and toasts, dialogs, and menus stay on screen in a short window. (#3089, #3090, #3079, #3056, #3055, #3058, #3052, #3053, #3054, #3050, #3043, #3051, #3059)

A side panel 340 points wide: its tab strip folded to glyphs beside the chosen invite.ts, and the file tree floating over the code.

Improvements

  • An MCP server's chip shows the server's row and tools, and says whether the turn is handed it (#3097)
  • What scrolls fades beneath every pinned bar, banner, and call timer (#3057)
  • The keyboard's focus ring is drawn once, whole, on the shape you see, and scrolls its control in with room to spare (#3044, #3045, #3046, #3069)
  • Settings, dialogs, and empty states say less and only what helps (#3096)

Fixes

  • Fixed Open in Luke opening a bare Electron rather than Luke (#3063)
  • Fixed Reopen on an account still signing in adding a new account, and a disconnect deleting an account added under the same name (#3039)
  • Fixed an agent whose harness is not yet known wearing a stray glyph (#3094)
  • Fixed a plan picture's last editor drawn over the text rather than in the viewer (#3073)
  • Fixed an empty plan drawing a summary and its button (#3072)
  • Fixed a click on an empty plan's panel not putting the caret in its text (#3075)
  • Fixed an Inbox picture standing taller than a screenful (#3065)
  • Fixed a chip parting from the punctuation after it at a line's end (#3060)

Misc

  • Added a View › Developer menu and named side-by-side instances to development builds (#3080, #3087)
